Sharon and Sheldon Lewis came to Bronx Bethany in 1989 and have been integral in the church’s development ever since. They have served in many capacities demonstrating hospitality, compassion, leadership, and integrity. Sharon has ministered as a chorister in The Chancellor Choir, The Chorale, The Chapel Choir, and small groups. For decades, she has used her gift to impact the body of Christ. She also served in the worship ministry, preparing floral arrangements and creating backdrops in care of the house of the Lord.

Sheldon gave his time and talent as an audio engineer—recording, mixing, and producing sound to help spread the gospel and make it more accessible. He was also a leader in Bronx Bethany, overseeing the transportation Ministry and heading NYI as the vice president.

Both Sharon and Sheldon served as ushers in the hospitality ministry, welcoming and directing congregates to the sanctuary to experience corporate worship. They were also accountable witnesses to the receiving and totaling of the offerings. Sharon and Sheldon still minister in various roles throughout Bronx Bethany continuing to build God’s kingdom.
